sea kayak through rocks and trees

seeing how close I can paddle to rocks and trees - plastic kayak and greenland paddle are a sweet combo in this type of 'up close' paddling

 i only got stuck  a few times... and lost my woolen beanie once

i like thinking about where to place the 'in the water' paddle blade in restricted spaces...and even, at times, where to place the uppermost  'out of the water'  blade

sometimes i like to play the mind game 'one point lost for every touch of boat, paddle, or body with the solid surroundings'.....if you get very close and go fast, low scores are hard to obtain 

....not a low score in this vid.... but it makes a change from getting smashed by waves
