red kayak vs blue kayak
these 2 are my current on-the-car 'quiver'
the red kayak is plastic and finless
and good for slower breaking and messier surf
you tend to get more slide slipping and slidey turns
- being finless it doesn't get caught up on sandbars
and is more fun to paddle generally
the blue kayak is fibreglass and has 3 fins
and good for faster breaking clean waves
you can carve turns off the fins and project down the line
- it's great when the conditions are all coming together
but doesn't get out as much as the red

south coast outtakes 3
i love living and kayaking on the south coast of NSW
there's lots of natural environments and few people
even though catching waves solo, rings my bells,
it's really nice to mix it up....
with places, friends and rocks.....
almost anytime kayaking is a fun time
